The Empire State Building in New York City will be lit up Wednesday in anticipation of the 2012 NHL Winter Classic, and uh, it's going to look more Philadelphia Flyers orange than New York Rangers red, blue and white.

The east and west sides of the building will be illuminated with red, blue and white lights, while the north and south sides of the building will be illuminated orange. And if you look at a picture of the building, it’s pretty obvious just how much orange is going to dominate that picture.

Seems a little odd considering, you know, the Empire State Building is in New York City and all.
