The actual 2012 Bridgestone NHL Winter Classic between the Philadelphia Flyers and New York Rangers isn't until Monday, but EA SPORTS thinks they already know who's going to win at Citizens Bank Park.
Philadelphia Flyers Beat New York Rangers, 3-1, In EA SPORTS Simulation Of 2012 Winter Classic
EA SPORTS conducted a simulation of the game on its EA SPORTS NHL series simulation engine this week and determined that the Rangers will score first but the Flyers will end up winning 3-1.
According to EA's simulation, Artem Anisimov will be the first player to light the lamp, scoring a power-play goal at 10:35 of the first period from Derek Stepan and Brad Richards.
While the Flyers come out on top on the scoreboard, the Rangers get the best performance of the game -- not surprisingly from Henrik Lundqvist, who comes up with 32 saves in the losing effort.
