Via Steve Lepore at Puck The Media comes the news that TSN's top hockey broadcast crew, Gord Miller and Pierre McGuire, will call Tuesday night's game between the Buffalo Sabres and Montreal Canadiens on Versus.

↵It won’t be a simulcast of a TSN broadcast for the two. They’ll actually call the game for Versus, and TSN2 will simulcast the Versus feed in Canada. It’s just another twist in the ongoing drama surrounding the on-air hockey talent at Versus in the wake of Comcast’s acquisition of NBC.
↵No matter what you think of McGuire, he’s worlds better in the booth than he is at ice-level on NBC, and I’m personally looking forward to the shakeup. We don’t know if it’ll last long, or if it’ll even be more than a one-time thing, but it’ll still be a fun change.
