VIDEO: Nashville’s Ryan Suter Has Rough Night Against Anaheim

The Nashville Predators got out to a 5-1 lead in their victory against the Anaheim Ducks on Thursday night so the fact that Nashville defenseman Ryan Suter scored not one, but two goals on his own net wasn't that big of a deal. That being said, Suter had an awful night of luck with pucks bouncing off of him.

The first goal wasn’t too egregious of a bounce off of Suter. The Ducks had a five on three advantage and Anaheim’s Teemu Selanne put the puck on net and it bounced off of Suter on the way in.

See, not too terrible.

Suter’s big finish of the night came with 27 seconds left in the game and the Ducks down 5-3. Corry Perry put the puck in front of the net and Suter tried deflecting it with his leg. The aftermath was Suter punted the puck into the net just under the crossbar.

Ryan Suter probably couldn’t do that again if he tried and even if he wanted to do it himself, the goal would have disallowed at the opposite end. Thankfully for Suter, the Predators scored enough on their own to keep the victory intact.
