The Tampa Bay Lighning need to win Game 4 to even the series at two games a piece and they have the luxury of doing so on home ice. Unfortunately for the Lightning though, the Penguins are outplaying the Lightning through the first period. The Penguins lead 1-0 after one period on the first powerplay goal of the series for the Penguins.

Tyler Kennedy’s goal came on a holding penalty from Vincent Lecavalier . Kennedy shot the puck through a crowd and beat a screened Dwayne Roloson. Kennedy’s goal was the first powerplay goal for the Penguins in the series. The assists on the goal came from Zbynek Michalek and Mark Letestu.
The Penguins are outshooting the Lightning 10-5 through the first period and the Lightning have given up two powerplay chances already in the first. Marc-Andre Fleury is pitching the five save shutout thus far in the game while Roloson has nine saves thus far in the game.
