The Tampa Bay Lightning are still being dominated through two periods by the Pittsburgh Penguins, but at least they have a goal on the scoreboard to keep the score close. Aaron Asham for the Penguins and Martin St. Louis each have a goal in the second period and the Penguins lead 2-1 after two periods.
Penguins Vs. Lightning, Game 4: Asham And St. Louis Trade Goals In Second; Pittsburgh Leads 2-1
Asham’s goal came at the 2:39 mark of the period as he collected a rebound off of a Ben Lovejoy shot in front of the net. Lovejoy recorded the only assist on the goal and the Penguins kept the 2-0 lead for most of the period. Martin St. Louis scored at 17:14 of the period on a breakaway that beat Marc-Andre Fleury.
The Penguins are still outshooting the Lightning by double, 30-14, through the two periods and Dwayne Roloson is keeping the Lightning in the game thus far with 28 saves while Fleury has just 13 saves.
The Lightning will start the third period on the power play and need to find that tying goal to keep the Penguins from going up 3-1 in the series.
