The Nashville Predators put together a good first two periods against the Anaheim Ducks, but the third period was a completely different story. The Preds collapsed in the final 20 minutes against their home fans, losing 6-3 after entering the third period tied up at 3-3.
Ducks Vs. Predators, Game 4: Anaheim Wins After Great Third Period
None of Anaheim's goals came on the power play, with one goal, scored by Corey Perry, coming shorthanded at the start of the period. Joel Ward was the man to blame after a bad giveaway, marking his second major error of the game after he notched a double minor in the second period.
Ryan Getzlaf scored four minutes later, assisted by Corey Perry, and that was all she wrote for Nashville. A couple of minutes after that, to add insult to injury, Brandon McMillan scored to push the score to 6-3, which is how it would end. Both teams now have road splits in this series, and it's all tied up at 2-2.
