After being down 1-0 after the first period, the Bruins started the game on a quick note as Dennis Seidenberg evened the game within the first minute of the second for the Bruins. Assists on the goal came from Chris Kelly and Rich Peverley.

Milan Lucic was given the gate in the second as he drilled Montreal’s Jaroslav Spacek into the boards early in the second. Lucic was given a five minute boarding penalty and a game misconduct. Spacek returned to the game after it being helped off the ice. Here is the video of the hit:
Brian Gionta gives the Canadiens the lead again at the 5:48 mark of the period on another five on three powerplay. The five on three came from the Lucic major and Patrice Bergeron delay of game penalty that came 16 seconds later. The assists on the goal came from Scott Gomez and Mike Cammalleri, his second point of the night.
The Bruins outshot the Canadiens 11-10 in the second period and shots are now even at 21 each through two periods. The Canadiens need to hold on for this period to force a Game 7 in Boston tomorrow night.
