NHL Draft 2011 Results: 3rd Round Selections And Highlights

The third round of the 2011 NHL Draft sees the Carolina Hurricanes take Keegan Lowe, son of Edmonton Oilers president Kevin Lowe with the 73rd overall pick. The Oilers were set to select with the next pick. Also the 69th overall pick was forfeited by the New Jersey Devils due to the issues last season with the Ilya Kovalchuk contract.
