Dany Heatley has been traded again. The Sharks sent the star forward to the Minnesota Wild on Sunday night in exchange for another star forward, Martin Havlat.

Heatley has a slight no-movement clause in his contract according to Darren Dreger of TSN. He submitted a list of 10 teams that he wouldn’t accept a trade to, and Minnesota clearly wasn’t one of those teams.
Given Heatley’s history when it comes to trades, the story behind this one will certainly be anticipated. Did he ask for one (again)? Did the Sharks just feel they needed a shakeup? Was it about the salary cap?
