Pierre-Marc Bouchard is out indefinitely with concussion-like symptoms (via the Star-Tribune). The Minnesota Wild winger apparently suffered the injury in the Jan. 4 game against the Vancouver Canucks, but the team had been vague about it. Wild GM Chuck Fletcher told the Star Tribune that Bouchard had been feeling discomfort ever since suffering a hit from Zach Bogosian back on Dec. 13.

The Wild have reason to be cautious with Bouchard. It was just about a year ago that he returned after missing more than a year with a concussion.
Since coming back, Bouchard has been a solid second-line scorer. In 96 games, he has scored 21 goals and registered 39 assists. This year, he has nine goals and 13 assists in 37 games.
The Wild were already struggling to score before losing Bouchard and don’t have a lot of obvious answers already on the roster. Fletcher said he’d look outside the organization to find a replacement, but also said he wasn’t willing to jeopardize his team’s young core.

This is terrible news, both for the team and for Bouchard. He is irreplaceable within the organization, as you can call up as many David McIntyre's as you want, but none of them will be Pierre-Marc Bouchard. This is also just another black mark on the league as the players continue to drop with concussions.
