All in all, Subban only picked up a two-minute minor for elbowing on the play, while Ference picked up a double minor for roughing. On the ensuing power play, Montreal actually scored their lone goal of the hockey game, which would have been a total mess in the Boston media if the Habs came back to win the hockey game.

The Wild have not won on the road now in their last eight games, and that doesn’t help them much, considering they will go on to play three more games on the road to complete their four-game road stretch. In total, seven of their next nine games will be played on the road before they have a four-game homestand.
