KHL schedule 2012: 4 games feature 10 NHL players

The NHL lockout is still going and the league’s players are still playing whenever and wherever they can.

Friday’s Kontinental Hockey League schedule features four games on the docket with a total of 10 NHL players in action.

The KHL has reaped the benefits of the current NHL lockout by infusing a laundry list of NHL players into their league. With the lockout making progress, but still far from ending, the KHL will have the opportunity to entertain their fans with some of the world’s best players at their disposal.

On Friday, Metallurg Nk will face Neftekhimik with the Penguins' Evgeni Malkin, Senators' Sergei Gonchar and Maple Leafs' Nikolai Kulemin all playing for Metallurg.

Yugra faces Donbass with the Flyers' Ruslan Fedotenko playing for Donbass.

CSKA Moscow plays Lev, representing the largest contingent of NHL players in one game in Friday's schedule. The Red Wings' Pavel Datsyuk, Flyers' Ilya Bryzgalov and Maple Leafs' Mikhail Grabovski will all be on the ice for CSKA while the Bruins' Zdeno Chara, Flames' Jiri Hudler and Flyers' Jakub Voracek play for Lev.
