Friday’s college hockey schedule features a top ten matchup, a season opener for one of the country’s best squads, and the nation’s top team facing its most difficult test of the season to date. No. 1 Boston College, 2-1-0 on the young season, travels to No. 11 Massachusetts-Lowell at 7:00 ET. The Eagles dropped their season opener against Northeastern, but rallied for an overtime victory over UMass before shutting out Northeastern at home. Massachusetts-Lowell is 1-1-1 so far this year.

No. 6 Michigan, 2-1-0 on the year, hosts No. 3 Miami at 7:35 ET in the first game of a weekend doubleheader. Miami is undefeated on the year, taking two from Colgate in the opening weekend and managing a win and a tie against Providence last week. The Wolverines lost their opener against Rochester Institute of Technology in overtime, but rebounded with a win over RIT the next night and defeated Bentley last Friday.

Elsewhere, No. 7 Cornell starts their campaign by hosting No. 19 Colorado College at 7:00 CT. The Tigers enter the game at 3-1-0 on the year. No. 4 North Dakota hosts Alaska-Anchorage, No. 5 Denver faces Michigan Tech, No. 9 Notre Dame travels to No. 16 Northern Michigan, and undefeated New Hampshire hosts No. 15 Northeastern.
