After a week of meetings, the NHL and NHLPA will not meet on Tuesday, according to a report.

After months of stagnation, the two sides met last Tuesday and reportedly made progress before NHLPA Counsel Steve Fehr indicated Monday that a deal could be on the way. However, Allen noted in his tweet that the news of no meeting Tuesday between the two sides is not particularly good to hear.
Tuesday marks day No. 59 of the NHL lockout that has caused for the cancellation of more than 300 regular season games, including the 2012 Winter Classic that was to be held at Michigan Stadium in Ann Arbor, Mich.
The season was scheduled to begin on Oct. 11, but would begin on Dec. 1 if a deal were to immediately get done. The final day of the regular season is scheduled for April 13.
