KHL schedule 2012: 11 games scheduled for Wednesday

A look at the KHL schedule for Wednesday.

The Kontinental Hockey League has 11 games on tap for Wednesday, with several contests having already been played.

Amur Khabarovsk defeated Metallurg Novokuznetsk by a final score of 5-1, with Jakub Petruzalek scoring two goals and an assist, while Dmitry Tarasov recorded three assists. Evgeni Malkin and Metallurg Magnitogorsk fell to Avangard Omsk Region by a final score of 2-1. Malkin recorded a secondary assist on a goal by former teammate Sergei Gonchar.

Here are the rest of the final scores:

-Ak Bars Kazan defeated Dinamo Riga, 6-2.
-Yugra Khanty-Manslysk defeated Avtomobilist Yekaterinburg, 2-1.
-Barys Astana defeated Traktor Chelyabinsk, 3-0.
-Salavat Yulaev Ufa defeated Spartak Moscow, 4-1
