Nashville got that lead with a 3-2 win on Wednesday in Game 1. The Predators snuck three goals past Jimmy Howard in even-strength situations, with Gabriel Bourque netting two, and the Red Wings never led. If Nashville can get another strong showing from their offense, and Pekka Rinne can continue his excellent play (35 saves in Game 1), the Preds have a fantastic shot at heading to Joe Louis Arena with a 2-0 series lead.
