The 2012 NHL Playoffs continue on Saturday night with the No. 7 San Jose Sharks looking to take a 2-0 series lead over the No. 2 St. Louis Blues. The Sharks outlasted the Blues on Thursday night with a double-overtime 3-2 victory. Martin Havlat scored the first and last goals of the game to lead San Jose to victory. Can the lower seed pull off another victory on Saturday night?

The rest of the schedule features all the other remaining seeds in search of a victory. The No. 7 Washington Capitals start the day off looking to make up for their 1-0 overtime loss to the Boston Bruins. Chris Kelly scored the game-winner for Boston at 1:18 into the extra frame. The other Eastern Conference Quarterfinals matchup is between the No. 8 Ottawa Senators and the No. 1 New York Rangers. New York picked up the 4-2 victory on the strength of a two-goal second period in the first game of the series.

The night concludes with the No. 6 Chicago Blackhawks seeking to recover from a 3-2 overtime loss to the No. 3 Phoenix Coyotes. Martin Hanzal got the game-winner past Corey Crawford nearly midway through the extra time in game one.
