The game was delayed for several minutes as the team stood up, stepped out onto the ice and waited for a replacement bench to be brought out from the bowels of the arena. They huddled around staring at the scene like a player had just been injured, but the crew had the replacement out in no time. It was even blue. How appropriate!

Their loss to the Sharks on Thursday night was the first time all season that they had any difficulty dispatching San Jose. In their four regular-season meetings, St. Louis was 4-0 and outscored the Sharks 11-3.
Saturday night’s game will begin at 7:30 p.m. ET and will be televised nationally on CNBC. In the San Francisco Bay Area, the game will be televised on CSN-California, while it will air on FOX Sports-Midwest in the St. Louis area.
