The New Jersey Devils are going to be short a center for their initial playoff series. They recently clinched a playoff spot in the Eastern Conference and are all but locked in to the sixth seed, but they're going to have to change things around. Their fourth line center, Jacob Josefson, will be out for 4-6 weeks with a fractured left wrist.

The New Jersey Devils won’t have center Jacob Josefson for their first-round playoff series. He suffered a fractured wrist Tuesday and is out for 4-6 weeks.
Josefson suffered the injury in the second period of Tuesday's game against the New York Islanders. He missed 37 games earlier this season with a broken right clavicle, but has played in 36 consecutive games since that injury, giving him a total of 40 appearances for the season. In those 40 games he has just two goals and seven assists, but scoring isn't exactly the point of anyone's fourth line. It's to eat up quality minutes, and he's done plenty of that. He's plus-10 for the year.
