Phoenix won their division for the first time in history on the final day of the regular season, and they'll try to do something else for the first time in history over these next two weeks: Win a playoff series.

The Phoenix Coyotes won their division for the first time ever, and against the Chicago Blackhawks in Round 1 of the 2012 NHL playoffs, they’ll try to win a series for the first time as well.
By drawing the No. 3 seed, however, they'll face off against the very tough Chicago Blackhawks, a team with plenty of playoff experience that actually finished with more points than their first round opponent. Here's the entire first round schedule:
