The crowd gathered along six blocks of Figueroa Street for the Kings parade Thursday was ... well, pretty dull.
Kings Parade 2012 Live: Fans Save Large Crowds For End Of Route
But it appears as though most fans decided to gather down at the end of the parade route near the intersection of Chick Hearn Court and Figueroa. Thousands of fans are also gathered inside two plazas along the Court near Staples Center and L.A. Live.
At the end of the route, the buses stopped, a few players spoke and confetti went off to the roar of the crowd.
These two plazas were closed to the public -- instead, they’re “special viewing areas” for fans who were able to score free tickets to the post-parade rally inside Staples Center. Now, as fans along the rest of the route disperse, these lucky 20,000 or so will head to the building for the rally that’s set to begin around 2:30 p.m. local time.
