Winnipeg Jets forward Evander Kane sustained a leg injury during practice on Wednesday afternoon, the extent of which is still unknown at this time.

Coach Claude Noel stated that Kane tweaked one of his legs and that the injury was going to be further evaluated later in the day, according to Ted Wyman of the Winnipeg Sun. Wyman tweeted earlier that Kane appeared to injure his right leg and that he needed help to get to the dressing room because he wasn’t applying pressure to it.

Wyman tweeted that Kane sustained the injury after being "tangled up" with Anthony Peluso and that he immediately feel to the ice and grabbed the area. Noel stated that Kane will be considered day-to-day.
