Tampa Bay Lightning defenseman Radko Gudas is best known for being mean and very large. He's like an angry tree trunk on the ice. When he gets angry, avoid engaging him at all costs.
Lightning vs. Panthers: Radko Gudas ejected for swinging at Florida bench
Watch that temper, Radko.
The Florida Panthers apparently didn't get the memo. Midway through the second period on Sunday, Gudas missed a check and went sprawling into the boards on Florida's bench. Apparently a Panthers player poked some fun at his situation, because Gudas immediately got up and swung his stick at someone on the bench.

Referee Tim Peel was having none of it. He gave Gudas a two-minute minor for slashing and a game misconduct. Florida got a bench minor for taunting, so the two teams played four-on-four hockey.
Whether Gudas’ actions justified an ejection is certainly up for debate, though wielding your stick at the opposing bench with reckless abandon because you fell down seems pretty irresponsible. Let’s just call him Radko “The Mountain” Gudas from now on.
