Teemu Selanne's farewell tour will be missing a few stops. After taking an unintentional high stick to the face on Tuesday night, the Anaheim Ducks forward has returned home to undergo oral surgery, the team announced Wednesday morning.

Selanne is projected to miss approximately two weeks, which could result in his missing as many as six-or-seven games. This includes trips to Boston, Buffalo, Florida and New York, so fans in those cities likely won’t have a chance to formally say goodbye. The Ducks return home on Monday after finishing out the final three games of an eight-game road trip.
Selanne lost several teeth and required stitches in his upper mouth after being hit in the face with a high stick from Philadelphia Flyers defenseman Luke Schenn. Selanne was present at Anaheim's practice on Wednesday but did not participate.
