5 NHL questions: Cory Schneider returns to Vancouver, Berube debuts in Philadelphia

1. How will Cory Schneider and Roberto Luongo play on Tuesday?

Not sure if you've heard this before, but Cory Schneider is returning to Vancouver for the first time since being traded to the New Jersey Devils. Making his second appearance in a Devils jersey, Schneider will face his old team and attempt to improve his .857 save percentage.

2. Can the Devils rebound from their collapse on Monday night?

New Jersey allowed the Edmonton Oilers to score four goals in the third period in a shootout loss. Can the club rebound on Tuesday night against Vancouver?

3. How will the Philadelphia Flyers fare in their first game under Craig Berube?

Philadelphia fired Peter Laviolette on Monday and named Berube coach outright. The team reportedly had an intensive practice -- not skate, but a practice -- on Tuesday morning in preparation of playing the Florida Panthers later that night. Berube has already mixed up all the line combos and has adjusted his defense pairings. Will any of this have an impact on the contest?

4. Ryan Suter returns to Nashville...again. How's he going to do?

In his first visit back, Suter recorded over 28 minutes of ice time and registered a primary assist. Will he be able to top or match that performance? Also, how will the fans receive him on the second go around?

Hmmm, probably not well.

5. Who will win the battle of the unbeatens?

This. Is. Hockey. So, technically both teams could come away without losing, which makes this all the more difficult to question. The Colorado Avalanche and Toronto Maple Leafs have both perfect records, but one of those records will become blemished after Tuesday night's game because they're playing each other. Semyon Varlamov is expected to start for Colorado, while Jonathan Bernier will get the nod for the Maple Leafs.
