Toronto Maple Leafs forward Joffrey Lupul is considered day-to-day with a bruised lower calf, head coach Randy Carlyle announced on Wednesday morning.
Joffrey Lupul injury: Maple Leafs F day-to-day with calf issue
Joffrey Lupul is being evaluated on a day-to-day basis after injuring his calf on Tuesday night.

Lupul sustained the injury during the third period of Tuesday night's game against the Colorado Avalanche when he collided with forward P.A. Parenteau. The Toronto forward recorded 18:38 of ice time in the 2-1 loss. Carlyle stated that there is some swelling in the area and that Lupul received treatment on Wednesday morning. While he will travel with the team to Nashville, he is questionable for Thursday night's contest against the Predators.
The oft-injured Lupul missed the start of training camp due to back spasms.
This announcement came hours after the Maple Leafs recalled David Broll, Josh Leivo and T.J. Brennan from the Toronto Marlies of the American Hockey League. Brennan was named the AHL Player of the Week on Monday.
In addition, the club assigned Jamie Devane and Trevor Smith to the Marlies.
