Five NHL questions: Tyler Bozak returns for Maple Leafs

A daily feature that asks the five biggest questions about today’s NHL action. Will they be answered? (That doesn’t count as one of the five questions.)

Abelimages
1. What kind of impact will Tyler Bozak make in his return?

The Toronto Maple Leafs have been decimated with injuries at center, but will have the benefit of Bozak's return on Monday night. Bozak has missed 12 games since sustained a hamstring injury against the Columbus Blue Jackets on Oct. 25.

2. Will the Philadelphia Flyers extend their three-game winning streak?

Philadelphia has quickly turned around their season having registered a 7-1-2 record in their last 10. The club recently completed a three-game home stand where they collected all six potential points and enter competition on Monday night two points back of a playoff spot. They will face the Florida Panthers, one of the league's worst teams.

3. Will Nikita Kucherov record a point in his NHL debut?

Kucherov enters Monday night as the second highest leading scorer in the American Hockey League (13 goals and 11 assists in 17 games). He will make his NHL debut against the New York Rangers on a line with Alex Killorn and Teddy Purcell. Will he mark the occasion with a ceremonial point?

4. How will Jacob Trouba perform in his return?

Trouba has missed 17 games with a neck injury but will snap that run when he plays against the New Jersey Devils on Monday night. He is expected to replace Grant Clintsome, who will be a healthy scratch.

5. Will Phoenix avoid a three-game losing streak?

The Coyotes have avoided a three-game skid to this point in the season but could reach the mark with a loss to the Nashville Predators on Monday night. Nashville is 3-1-0 in their last four.
