Three NHL questions: Ducks face Stars in single game schedule
Only one game in the NHL on Tuesday night, as the Dallas Stars host the Anaheim Ducks.

Amazingly, the Stars haven't won a game at home since Oct. 24, which spans four contests. Despite that interesting figure, Dallas has recorded victories in six of its last nine games. Will the home slide end against Anaheim? The Ducks have performed fantastically at home (9-0-1), but have struggled on the road (8-6-2), registering all six regulation losses away from Honda Center.
2. Will Anaheim continue their two-game winning streak?
The Ducks failed to register a win in five straight leading up to their current string of victories. Four of the five contests took place on the road, which has been a difficult hurdle for the Ducks. Anaheim has recorded points in three straight and will look to extend that to a fourth on Tuesday night.
3. Who will perform most effectively, Anaheim’s penalty kill or Dallas’ power play?
A meeting of two bottom-five special teams units, the Stars are operating at an 11.5-percent conversion rate when on the man-advantage, while the Ducks are neutralizing only 77.9 percent of their penalties. Anaheim has taken 98 minor penalties this season (ninth most). Dallas has had 78 power-play opportunities, which is the seventh fewest in the league.
