Patrick Kane completes Blackhawks’ comeback with late goal

Patrick Kane scored with 18 seconds left to help erase a 2-0 third period deficit.

The Toronto Maple Leafs weren't the only NHL team that found a way to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory on Wednesday night as the Calgary Flames suffered a similar fate against the Chicago Blackhawks.

After taking a surprising 2-0 lead in the third period, the Flames allowed Chicago to score three straight goals over the final 11 minutes, including a pair from Patrick Kane. Kane's second goal proved to be the winner with just 18 seconds remaining, and it was one that Reto Berra would probably like to forget.

That's why the Blackhawks are the defending Stanley Cup champions and the Flames are ... well, the Flames.
