Vladimir Tarasenko injury: Blues place rookie on IR

The Blues did not formally address the reasoning for placing Tarasenko on injured reserve and have yet to update his status.

In 17 games this season, the 21-year-old rookie has compiled six goals and six assists for 12 points.

At first glance it certainly doesn’t look good. Olver catches Tarasenko unawares and seemed to lead with his shoulder or elbow right into Tarasenko’s head.
