Calgary Flames goaltender Miikka Kiprusoff has informed the organization that he will not report to another team if the Flames trade his rights, according to Nick Kypreos of Sportsnet on Tuesday night.
NHL trade rumors: Miikka Kiprusoff will not report if moved at deadline
Despite interest from other teams, Miikka Kiprusoff reportedly has no interest in leaving the Calgary Flames.

Citing a source, Kypreos reports that Kiprusoff’s decision is due to family related issues.
With the trade deadline a little over a week away, the Flames have been targeted as a team who are expected to be sellers at the deadline. Captain Jarome Iginla is expected to be moved, which points to the beginnings of a rebuild. If that proves to be the case, the Flames would have little need for a 36-year-old goaltender who will be entering the final year of his contract next season.
On Monday night, Darren Dreger of TSN stated opposing clubs had interest in the asking price for Kiprusoff and citied the Toronto Maple Leafs as a primary suitor. Regardless of other clubs interest, it appears Kiprusoff has no interest in leaving Calgary.
