Sami Salo injury: Tampa Bay defenseman leaves game with upper-body issue

Details haven’t been released, but Salo won’t be back tonight.

Defenseman Sami Salo suffered an upper-body injury sometime in Tampa Bay's match against the Montreal Canadiens and left the game. He won't be back, according to reports:

Salo has been a solid part of the roster for Tampa Bay this year, but has been plagued by lingering injuries. He's in his first season with the Lightning after being a regular fixture on defense for the Vancouver Canucks.
