For the fourth time in the last five years and the third year in a row, the Washington Capitals and New York Rangers are set to meet in the Stanley Cup Playoffs. The two teams will kick off the 2013 edition of the war on Thursday, May 2 at Verizon Center in Washington, D.C.
Capitals vs. Rangers schedule: DC, NYC meet again in Stanley Cup Playoffs
The Capitals and Rangers will face one another in the Stanley Cup Playoffs for the third year in a row.


The Rangers won a hard-fought Eastern Semifinals battle in seven games a year ago, but the Caps came out on top in the previous two meetings: a seven-game series win in the 2009 Conference Quarterfinals and a 4-1 series win in the first round in 2011.
