Bruins vs. Maple Leafs, Game 5 recap: Somehow, Toronto survives
The Leafs held off the Bruins in the third period, forcing Game 6 in Toronto with a 2-1 win on Friday night.

Clarke MacArthur scored the game-winner -- just hours after promising the media he'd score a goal in Game 5, in fact -- adding to Tyler Bozak's first-period goal as Toronto staved off elimination and a strong Bruins charge, 2-1.
The Leafs controlled play through the first period, dominating the B’s, controlling play and racking up 19 shots in the first 20 minutes of play. But Boston quickly settled in, ultimately finishing the game with a 44-33 edge in the shot category.
Zdeno Chara scored in the third period as it looked like the Bruins were going to take control and ultimately ride the wave to a victory and a berth in the second round.
But James Reimer came up big in the final minutes, and Toronto got a bit of luck. Despite Boston's 19-4 shots advantage in the final period, Toronto was somehow able to squeak out the victory. Leafs fans don't particularly care how lopsided it was late, either:
