The Los Angeles Kings are off to a good start as they look to even up their playoff series against the St. Louis Blues. They scored the only goal of the first period after Dustin Brown deflected a shot from Mike Richards past goaltender Brian Elliott. It was a five-on-three power-play goal, scored after Ryan Reaves and Barret Jackman both took penalties for St. Louis.
