Kings vs. Blues Game 2 Update: Jonathan Quick stands tall

The Blues still haven’t managed to score against Quick and the Kings.

Some people blamed Los Angeles Kings goaltender Jonathan Quick for his team's loss in the first game of their series against the St. Louis Blues, after a late-game fumble with the puck led to the winning goal. So far in Game 2, however, he looks to be making a strong case for first star of the night. Quick has stopped all of the 15 St. Louis shots he has seen.

The St. Louis Blues have struggled on the power play since scoring their first goal of the series with the man advantage. They haven’t scored a goal on their last seven power-play chances, including two opportunities in the second period of Game 2.

The Kings lead by one at the end of the second period, with Dustin Brown's first-period tally still the only goal of the game.
