It seems the referees in Boston tonight disagree. Apparently this is a roughing penalty on Dion Phaneuf.

Don't worry. Brad Marchand wasn't laughing for very long. Just eight seconds into the power play, he was called for "tripping."
At least the referees are doing a good job of policing themselves?
