With their backs against the wall in their series against the Chicago Blackhawks, the Minnesota Wild are launching shot after shot at Corey Crawford to try to win their first game of the series.

Crawford had already stopped 30 of 31 shots to keep the score tied at 1-1 midway through the third period, the latest being this one by Torrey Mitchell:

Last summer the Wild signed Parise to a 13-year, $98 million contract. Shots like that just might be why.
The Wild trail the series two games to none but are mounting an impressive physical effort in Game 3. They were outhitting the Blackhawks 29-11 and outshooting them 36-19 with seven minutes left in the game.
If the Wild can hold on, they’ll make it a series and Tuesday’s Game 4 will be a chance to make it a long one.
