Playoff hockey returned to Toronto for the first time since 2004 on Monday night, but it hasn’t been great start for the Maple Leafs. The Boston Bruins have a one-goal lead after the opening period of play.
Bruins vs. Maple Leafs Game 3 Update: Soft goal on James Reimer gives Boston the lead
A long shot floated up over Reimer’s shoulder to give the Bruins an early lead.

James Reimer made a solid stop on Tyler Seguin midway through the first to keep the game scoreless, but couldn't handle this long shot from Adam McQuaid:
Reimer has been solid in the first two games of this series, posting a .926 save percentage, but that goal looked pretty savable, even with the screen.
In addition to leading in shots, 17-12, in the period, Boston dominated in the face-off circle:
Peverely 5-0, Kelly 4-1 faceoffs in 1st period; Bruins won 17 of 28 draws.
