Ducks vs. Red Wings Game 4 Update: Beleskey puts Anaheim up by 1

The Red Wings had more shots, but the Ducks are leading by a goal after the first period.

Rick Osentoski-USA TODAY Sports

The Detroit Red Wings looked to even their series with the Anaheim Ducks on Tuesday night, but it is going to be an uphill climb. The Wings trail by a goal at the end of the first 20 minutes of play, and have to be feeling the frustration of being unable to get one past Anaheim goaltender Jonas Hiller.

Detroit's Jimmy Howard did absolutely everything he could on this sequence, but the Red Wings didn't appear interested in playing much defense and eventually Matt Beleskey was able to toss in a goal:

The Red Wings led in shots 13-8 at the end of the period. They need to win tonight to avoid heading back to Anaheim down 3-1 in the series.
