Penguins vs. Islanders Game 5 Update: Evgeni Nabokov pulled after four goals

Remember, there are two struggling goalies in this series.

With many focused on how bad Pittsburgh Penguins goalie Marc-Andre Fleury has been in their first-round series, some have overlooked the fact that the New York Islanders have not gotten good goaltending either. Just in case, Evgeni Nabokov provided a reminder tonight, getting pulled after allowing four goals on 27 shots.

To be fair, only one goal was truly awful, this bobble that made it 2-0 in the second period:

The other goals came on two breakaways and one well-executed power-play goal. Still, Nabokov's play stood in contrast to Penguins backup Tomas Vokoun, who calmly stopped everything the Isles threw at him as the Penguins built a 4-0 lead.

You know what that means? The walk of shame for Nabokov at 5:43 of the third period:

Islanders Kevin Poulin relieved Nabokov for mop-up duty. With the Penguins about to take a 3-2 lead in the series, the focus of goalie controversies has now shifted to Long Island.
