The Chicago Blackhawks began the second period of Game 6 against the Boston Bruins down by a single goal, but it didn't take them long to even things up. Just after successfully killing their third penalty of the game, the Blackhawks came charging back. At 4:24 of the second period, Jonathan Toews scored to tie the game:

Toews had the only goal of the second period, and the Blackhawks and Bruins are tied, 1-1.
That would be the only goal of the period, and the teams will start the third tied, 1-1.
The Blackhawks pushed back in the second period after withstanding a storm of Bruins pressure in the first. Chicago led in shots, 9-6, in the middle frame and has successfully killed off all four of their penalties thus far.
