The Chicago Blackhawks will celebrate their second Stanley Cup win in four years with their fans during a parade in downtown Chicago on Friday, and details for the event have been finalized. There will be a few differences from the 2010 parade, as there will be no ticker tape and the rally will be held at Grant Park instead of Michigan Avenue.

Details for Friday’s Blackhawks victory parade have been finalized, and there are a few differences from their 2010 celebration.

Things will get underway at 11:30 a.m. ET when the team boards double-decker buses at the United Center. The parade will officially start at Washington and Des Plaines streets, with the caravan heading east down Washington to Wabash Street. From there, the parade will continue east to Michigan Avenue before going north to Randolph Street and then east to Columbus Drive.
The parade will end with the rally at Hutchinson Field in Grant Park. The rally is expected to take place at about 12 p.m., with two public entrances at Jackson Boulevard and Michigan and Congress and Michigan. There will be two large Jumbotrons at the side of the stage and several more on the streets near the rally.
There will be some increased security measures in place for the parade, as backpacks and large bags will be subject to additional screening. Fans will also not be allowed to have alcohol along the parade route or on trains.
