The Pittsburgh Penguins needed to win game two against the Boston Bruins to avoid going down 2-0 in the series heading to Boston. Instead they played an awful game in which all their best players made mistakes and neither of their two goaltenders could stop much of anything. The Bruins coasted to a 6-1 victory after scoring four goals in the first period, and the Penguins will have an uphill climb to get themselves back into the series.
