Sidney Crosby's concussion issues began during the 2011 Winter Classic, when David Steckel, then of the Washington Capitals, inadvertently collided with him away from the puck.
Penguins vs. Bruins, Game 4 update: Sidney Crosby absorbs tough hit in scoreless first
It’s scoreless after 20 minutes in Boston.

There are no indications that this hit from Daniel Paille has caused Crosby any ill effects -- he hasn't missed a shift since it happened at the 3:48 mark of the first period -- but he was certainly blindsided by Paille, and the snapping of his neck and his head smacking the ice on the way down isn't exactly what you want to see. No penalty was called, either, which won't make Penguins fans that happy.
Crosby finished the first with six minutes of ice time and three shots on goal. He looked solid as he tries to help his team avoid elimination.
The rest of the first period of Game 4 Friday night was back and forth, with both teams earning a power play that went unsuccessful. Boston led in shots, 11-8, but the score’s knotted at 0-0 after one.
