The Minnesota Wild have traded right wing Devin Setoguchi to the Winnipeg Jets in exchange for a second-round pick in the 2014 NHL Draft, according to TSN's Bob McKenzie.

Setoguchi, a 27-year-old native of Alberta, Canada, had 27 points in the lockout-shortened season, a similar pace to the 41- and 36-point seasons he had in the two years prior.
The No. 8 overall pick in the 2005 NHL Draft, Setoguchi spent two seasons in Minnesota after being traded from the San Jose Sharks as part of the Brent Burns deal.
The Jets, who finished in the middle of the pack in scoring a year ago and had only three players score double-digit goals, will welcome any offensive punch Setoguchi can provide. He’s scored 20 goals three times in his career and has once been a 30-goal scorer. Setoguchi failed to acquire that scoring touch in Minnesota, but the Jets are hoping he finds his shot again.
He is entering the final season of a three-year $9 million contract that he signed prior to the 2011 season. The Wild get some much needed cap relief in the trade, as they were just $2.2 million under the salary cap prior to dealing Setoguchi.
