Russia unveils Olympic hockey jerseys

Alex Ovechkin modeled RUssia’s jersey for the 2014 Sochi Olympics. What do you think of the design?

The 2014 Sochi Olympics dominated the headlines on Monday as both Hockey Canada and USA Hockey opened orientation camps. But the host nation made a bit of news too, with Russia unveiling their men’s and women’s jerseys for the Games.

Washington Capitals captain Alex Ovechkin acted as a model for the Russian jersey, which featured eight stars along the shoulder to signify the eight gold medals the men's team has won.
