Cal Clutterbuck injury: Islanders F to miss 4-6 weeks with laceration
The New York Islanders announced that Cal Clutterbuck will miss over a month due to a leg laceration.

Clutterbuck sustained the laceration during the Islanders first exhibition game against the Calgary Flames. The organizations held split-squad contests, with one game taking place in Calgary and the other in Regina. Cluttebruck was playing in the Calgary game.
New York acquired Clutterbuck during the 2013 NHL Draft in a trade with the Minnesota Wild for prospect Nino Niederreiter. Clutterbuck was a restricted free agent at the time, but eventually signed a four-year, $11 million contract extension with the Islanders in July.
