Claude Giroux to make preseason debut against Devils
Claude Giroux will return to the Philadelphia Flyers lineup on Tuesday night.

Giroux has sat out the team’s exhibition slate to this point due to a hand injury he sustained while golfing earlier this offseason. Giroux’s club shattered and sliced a tendon in his right index finger, which required surgery. The team originally projected that he would miss five-to-six weeks while recovering.
Giroux has been able to participate in practices but was limited in his ability to work with pucks. He recently began shooting and expressed a desire to return to action against the Devils. It's expected that Giroux will center the first line with Jakub Voracek and Scott Hartnell.
